We accept: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Debit Cards. We do NOT accept checks of ANY kind (personal, business, etc.).

Assuming you have not taken receipt of merchandise, if you cancel your order with in the first 24 hours, we will fully refund all payments with no questions asked. After 24 hours, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We sometimes make special exemptions to this rule, and only charge a 25% restocking fee, but this is done at our discretion. We simply cannot afford to keep our prices as low as they are, and on top of that, absorb the cost of taking merchandise back.

LOCAL PICKUPS: We request that all purchases be picked up within 7 days of when we notify you of availability for pickup. Due to the constant flow of merchandise in and out of our warehouses, we cannot store your merchandise for an extended period. Layaways and/or purchases of in-stock merchandise that are not picked up within 30 days will, at our option, be converted to an in-store credit. Special orders not picked up within 30 days will be considered a cancellation of order, any amount paid (minus the 50% deposit) will be converted to an in-store credit. The 50% deposit is non-refundable. This non-refundable fee helps us to recoup the cost of placing your custom order, paying for its shipping costs, warehousing it when it arrives, making room for it on our sales floor, transferring it to our sales floor, and finally, waiting for the custom piece to sell. Orders that have been converted to in-store credits cannot be refunded.

SJB Home Décor has a strict policy of keeping all customer information entirely confidential. We will never pass your details on to a third party.

We’ve put our years of experience in the furniture business to good use by selecting high quality products that do not normally need warranty service. However, no man-made product is perfect. If you do have a problem, we will work with you and the manufacturer to ensure that you are serviced to the full extent and terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. Please be aware that most warranties do not cover transportation costs or on-site inspections. It may be necessary for you to bring your merchandise back to our store for inspection and/or service. We will try to avoid this whenever possible. If you believe you have a warranty claim, please fill out our Warranty Submission form on our Service Request page. Also, emailing us photos of the problem can significantly speed up the warranty claim process and may avoid the need to transport merchandise.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

While we don’t offer a traditional layaway program, we do offer two weeks free storage. A 50% down payment is required which is refundable within the first 24 hours. Thereafter the down payment is not refundable and will be converted to an in-store credit that can be applied to future purchases

For our local customers who prefer delivery service, we offer local delivery (within 60-mile radius) with quality service at an rate $129.00. Due to the nature of our business (national online retail), we do not deliver, nor offer “Free Delivery”. Stores that offer free delivery are merely inflating their prices to ALL of their customers so they can give free delivery to the ones that spend the most. Rather than getting into the delivery business, we focus strictly on selling furniture at the lowest everyday prices we can. This gives our customers the opportunity to save money by transporting merchandise themselves.

But we understand that freight carriers sometimes mis-handle goods. Please be sure to inspect the boxes for visible damage before signing off on a shipment. If you discover damage to the box during the receiving process, please DO NOT sign the bill of lading, and instead, contact us immediately for instructions (this is very rare). Occasionally, manufacturer defects may not get caught at inspection (usually this is related to assembly of a piece, like holes mis-drilled, part doesn’t fit, etc.). If you notice a manufacturer defect, contact us immediately. We will do everything possible to restore your piece to new condition in as short a time as possible. Often this can be done by replacing the defective part with a new part from the manufacturer. If your piece cannot be restored to new condition, then we will replace it. Please be aware that replacement merchandise and replacement parts may have to be special ordered from the manufacturer and may take some additional time to arrive. Please keep the original packaging in case the item needs to be returned/exchanged. Return & Refund Policy

Internet Order – If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 5 days of delivery. Returned or exchanged items must be new and in unused condition. A few of our vendors may be excluded from our return policy. Any exceptions are noted on the page of the item. Special orders where custom fabrics or colors are selected are non-refundable. Mattresses, Bedding and linens are also non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. To return items for an exchange, or refund, please contact us via email for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). We ship items from multiple warehouses across the United States; therefore, it is very important to contact us so we can provide the correct return warehouse address. All returns and exchanges are subject to round trip shipping charges. If your item was shipped with our “Free Shipping,” we will charge our “actual” outbound shipping charges as the shipping charges are included in the price but customer will still be charged the round-trip shipping costs incurred by SJB Home Décor. All returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returns are only accepted in their original boxes, and should be unassembled. Once an item has been assembled it is no longer returnable unless written exemption was provided by SJB Home Décor Outlet & Liquidation. Your will be refunded once SJB Home Décor Outlet & Liquidation receives the returned merchandise. Always measure the space you plan on placing the furniture to make sure it will fit prior to making an order. IfIf an item is determined by SJB Home Décor, or the manufacturer, to be free of defect or damage, however, customer is not 100% satisfied with the product and desires to return the order; customer may return the item(s) they purchased from

Customer must e-mail SJB Home Décor a request for a Return Authorization Number within five (5) calendar days from receiving delivery.

Returned items must be received by SJB Home Décor Outlet & Liquidation within twenty (15) days from the date the return authorization is issued. SJB Home Décor Outlet & Liquidation will calculate and provide to you in writing or email, applicable restocking fees and actual delivery charges. A Return Authorization number will not be issued until SJB Home Décor Outlet & Liquidation receives written acceptance from customer of all return fees via email or fax. Refunds, if applicable, will not be issued until item(s) are inspected by SJB Home Décor manufacturer or an authorized 3rd party agent of SJB Home Decorate(s) do NOT qualify as Non-damaged or Non-defective Return if:  Full Refunds May Not Be Issued If:

The item(s) is determined by SJB Home Décor the manufacturer to have been used, damaged by customer. If the item(s) was returned C.O.D.If the item(s) is not returned in its original packaging or equivalent. If the item(s) does not have a Return Authorization Number affixed to the outside of the package. If the item(s) are returned with damage and cause of damage is determined to be a result of shipper’s mishandling.

YOU received delivery of an item(s) with a finish, color or texture that is different from what YOU saw at the SJB Home Décor website, any website other than SJB Home Décor at a physical furniture store, or recommendations YOU received from a SJB Home Décor sales representative. Finishes and colors online may not accurately represent the true color or pattern. YOU accept liability for YOUR purchase.

You or a SJB Home Décor representative on your behalf places an order through the SJB Home Décor website and the item(s) listed in the order confirmation are incorrect, YOU are responsible for (1) reviewing the email order confirmation details; (2) notifying SJB Home Décor within 24-hours if YOU did NOT receive the order confirmation email; (3) any errors, typos or inaccuracies in the order confirmation email so that SJB Home Décor may revise the order details to reflect what YOU want to order and where YOU want the order shipped to.

Should customer refuse delivery because the purchased item(s) cannot fit into home or room(s) by the customer or delivery agents, then the customer is responsible for any/all return costs in accordance with our return policy.
